Jerry SnyderThe LA Regional Food Bank is honored to announce a gift of $275,000 has been donated in memory of longtime donor Jerome “Jerry” Snyder. In support of the Building Hope Campaign, this generous gift will help build the new Food Bank facility in the City of Industry.

Snyder, in a career spanning over seventy years in Southern California, built residential properties such as: Beverly Glen Park and Glenridge, Coronado Shores, Ocean Towers and The Vermont on Wilshire Boulevard; office buildings including Santa Monica Water Garden and Wilshire Courtyard; and retail projects like: The River at Rancho Mirage, The WeHo Gateway and several Ralph’s supermarkets. From the first tract built in Garden Grove in 1949 to the recently opened Apartments at One Museum Square, the J.H. Snyder Company has created over one million jobs in construction and property management. In his name, $275,000 has been donated to befittingly help build the new Los Angeles Regional Food Bank facility.

Jerry’s philanthropy and this significant gift will ensure that children, families and seniors facing hunger will receive food for years to come. This enduring legacy is a testament to Jerry’s broad impact across Los Angeles County and beyond.
